PBS Newshour
  • Published by the Public Broadcasting System (PBS), this site brings you text, video, and other multimedia updates of current events from politics to science to world news to health and a whole host of other topics. 

Newseum
  • Virtual museum of news. There's an actual museum in Washington, D.C. as well.
  • You must click on the tab that says "News"

Time for Kids
  • The renowned magazine brings you news updates nationally and globally in a manner suitable and interesting for its younger readers.

The Washington Post-Kid's Post
  • This site also brings youth-friendly news from another popular news publication, The Washington Post.

CNN Student News
  • The news giant brings updates on current news tailored for middle school and high school students.
